While in California, on my last night, the boys and I decided to do a live acoustic of one of my new songs. The candlelight wasn’t as vibrantly illuminated as expected to be, so just vibe with the darkness. Inspired by absolutely every sunset I had to throw the skyline into view, to truly captivate the magical energy I felt throughout my stay. Some of the songs I had already conjured up in my head, lyrics and melody. While others, this one, I sat down on the last day with Tony and was able to sing over his lovely guitar part to create a lovely new song.

Music to me is Art. It’s every sound, hum or noise we hear on a daily basis. It’s just up to us to turn those lovely sounds into a ballot, that will make people f e e l something. Maybe an unfamiliar vibration that just overwhelms our bones with euphoric itching. Such a wondrous sight, to wake up and see the LA skyline under a glorious bright eyed sun. I’ve missed out on lots o NYC moon energy, so when I’m back Thursday night I’ll be recharging in the cave of wonders. The fact that I’m in California right now is a beautiful happening. After someone watched my debauchery of a show on Live Stream, he noticed something peculiar about me and wanted to see what was actually going on in my mind to create the sounds and melodies bouncing around in my head. After months of back and fourth, I was flown out to paradise, to stay with three guys. Three guys who are now like family and just as talented as me, gave me my own room to sleep in for 7 days. The recording process is unlike any other. We’ve had our woes, we’ve had our celebratory dances, our walks around the hills, sunset photos and Mexican food excursions. I am IN LOVE with LA. I will be back out here in the next few weeks. When I touch back down in NY I will be hiding away in my cave of wonder and creating more magic. magic. magic.
